Get To Know Me
𝓗𝓮𝔂𝔂𝔂,
I appreciate you coming in and delighted to have you here. I am LaTonya Graham, a Philly girl living in a Florida world who appreciates all things girly. I am a multi-faceted woman, loaded with many passions. To get started, I am a devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother and Author. I love my family, friends and most of all I love God. I am an active member of Miracle Temple of Christ where I serve as a Minister.
After 20 years of service in law enforcement, I am retired and pursuing one of my passions which is style & fashion through ReVamp’d LLC Boutique and Tossed Treasures Thrift Boutique. My love affair with fashion, fancy frocks and things that rock started when I was a child. This was when women would never be caught without being dressed to the 9’s.
I would sit with my Big Momma and watch old tv shows. She was such a classy lady. Big Momma had fancy hats and suits of every color, for every occasion honey. As we watched tv, women like Diahann Carroll, Lena Horne, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren would always be dressed so fancy. They always captured my attention and my eyes were glued as they glided across the tv screen with grace & poise. They had on jewels, pearls, brooches and things that blinged… which are all things I love.
Anytime I saw these beautiful things, it created an excitement in me and still does today.
I remember waiting for the Jet and Ebony magazines and Spiegels catalog to arrive just so I could look through them to see what fashion style were in there.
I would also find myself looking through and admiring the sewing patterns that my grandmother had. I never learned how to sew but it’s not too late right.
This would explain my fondness for fashion from vintage to runway, and my love for movies like “Mahogany”, “The Devil Wears Prada”, “Coco before Chanel” and “Emily in Paris”. Whooo weee, the elegance, the styles & the fashions were quite decadent.
One of my deep passions is to uplift, inspire, and encourage other women. Being a survivor of abuse & depression, my vision is to be the stimulus that helps to catapult women from hurt to healed and from broken to breakthrough. I also believe that this can be done through fashion.
If you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good it can build your confidence and how you think about yourself.
I tell a little bit of my story in the book “Unlock the Icon Within”. You can find it on the website. I am a contributing author in the book and it’s just a preview of what’s to come.
I am super excited for what God is doing in my life and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Until next time. Always remember you are Royalty and a Treasure, know your value.
